Pakistan has hundreds of places that are testimonial to the forgotten legacies of the Sikh artists, entrepreneurs, thinkers, mystics, administrators and warriors who hailed from West Punjab region. It has long been a popular destination for religious holy sites and historical places. More than 90% of all the Sikh shrines are located in other cities of Pakistan.With the recent opening of the Kartarpur Corridor, we look ahead into a new decade of religious tourism for our Sikh community to strengthen their ties with their faith and spiritual enlighten.We want to show the world how we have protected the Sikh heritage and kept it close to our hearts.Taking Sikh community religious and recreation needs into the consideration, Discovery Pakistan has designed a concord tour package to explore these beautiful sites for our Sikh community.

  • Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib

Kartarpur Sahib, is a gurdwara in Kartarpur, located in Shakargarh, Narowal District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is built on the historic site where the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, settled and assembled the Sikh community after his missionary travels (Udasis to Haridwar, Mecca- Medina, Lanka, Baghdad, Kashmir and Nepal and lived for 18 years. The temple located around 4km from the border with India, one of the holiest places in Sikhism. It’s believed to have been built on the site where Guru Nanak, the founder of the religion, died in the 16th Century.

  • GurdwaraNankana Sahib

The most important religious site for Sikh community and birthplace of saint, poet, philosopher and founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak Dev Ji located about 91 km west of Lahore and about 75 km east of Faisalabad.GurdwaraJanamAsthan also referred to as GurdwaraNankana Sahib, is a highly revered gurdwara that was built at the site where the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, was believed to be born. The shrine is located in the city of Nankana Sahib.

  • GurdwaraPanja Sahib

One of the famous Gurdwara located in HassanAbdal 45 kms away from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The shrine is considered to be particularly important as the handprint of the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, is believed to be imprinted on a boulder at the gurdwara.

Proceedings of the Tour

Discovery Pakistan is pleased to announce 5-7 days tour for our Sikh community tourists to explore aforementioned historical and holy sites along with the ancestral prestigious places in Pakistan. The duration will be extended to the longer or shorter time period depending upon requirements, and time available of guests. Since recent years have seen surge in number of tourism companies operating in Pakistan offering religious and heritage tours .For the security assurance of our clients Discovery Pakistan has issued (Department of tourist services) DTS license  to carry out tourism in Pakistan. Beside this we also have signed Memorandum of Understanding with Government of Punjab and service industry (transportation, lodging) to carry out tourism activities in Punjab province.
